Are you looking to redecorate or just freshen up your home?

Maybe preparing to sell, rent or to make your mark on your new property or have the exterior painted? Whatever the reason and whatever the room we can help.

You will find lots of information on my Facebook page and I'm currently working on my website to show more of what I can do and what my customers say.

Many of my customers are repeat business or by recommendation which is of course always the preferred way.

We provide a full painting and decorating service in all type of settings interior and exterior including wall papering and tiling. I may be relatively new to Checkatrade, but I am not new to painting and decorating with 26 years’ experience.

I have always enjoyed spending time improving things with honest hard work, attention to detail and care. Applying these principles into our work is what I pride most and why our customers keep coming back to us.

Having someone in your home is, in my opinion, a personal experience, and it is very important to me that my customers feel comfortable and safe having me there and know exactly who I am. Therefore, when we first meet, I will provide a photo ID along with a business card and why I have invested in a full enhanced certificate with the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) No: 001698979610 dated: 18 May 2020, available upon request and Checkatrade have verified.

COVID has changed the world around us and the way we interact. It is more important than ever to be considerate, to protect one another and to stay as safe as possible. I have introduced certain measures to protect my customers and myself.

While at your home I always wear a mask and have a constant supply of Anti-Bacterial hand gel always at hand (please forgive the pun). If you would like to suggest any further measures please do let me know, I have also now had both my COVID vaccinations.

Once you have looked at all the information and you are happy with what you have found and seen, please do get in touch either by phone or email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I can't promise you the cheapest quote, but I can promise you an honest one and the reassurance of a job well done. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a quote over the phone as this would be an estimate and estimates and actual quotes can vary dramatically which can lead to confusion later and I believe it is paramount that a customer knows exactly what the costs will be before work commences.

I do not leave a job until my customers are happy with the work provided. This is because I value work by recommendation above all else. I make sure each and every job is treated with the care and attention it deserves and why I became a member of Checkatrade to facilitate and enhance my reputation as a painter and decorator, so my customers feel comfortable when choosing J of Shades.
