    John attended site at short notice to perform the difficult task of opening a locked door with two locks that had no keys and had not been opened for many years. On-time and quality work with a pleasant, can-do manner. Problem solved at reasonable cost.

    Very pleased with the service. John replied quickly, arrived on time, explained the costs upfront, talked me through what the problem was and how he would resolve it and fixed my issue (key stuck in a UPVC patio door). I thought the price was fair for the work done. He was also tidy, polite and a pleasure to chat with. I would recommend his services and use him again.

I am a self-employed local mobile locksmith still operating during Covid-19. The health of myself and my clients is my top priority. I am wearing PPE at all jobs and sanitising any surfaces I encounter.


JCY Locksmith Services is a one-man locksmith business based in Riverhead, Sevenoaks. I started 8 years ago and run a 12-hour mobile emergency service; my areas covered are within a 15-mile radius of Riverhead, but not adverse to traveling a little further if needs be.


My career started when I completed my apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer in 1969. From there I moved from Rhodesia to South Africa and then to the UK, where I started my locksmith business to achieve what I have at present.
