  Good general building works to a point, not reliable for anything else

  First job (building and carpentry) finished on time. Everything after that requiring any other skill has gone downhill. Bathroom half finished with some work needing to be redone. Ceiling plastering brill but untidy edges. Second job; new bathroom suite Lacking communication (timeliness/ having to constantly chase) Never come when they say they will; Feb to November 2023 for current state, other jobs? Tiler used for plumbing which has gone wrong. Reliance on ppl not available. We have been able to amicably come to an agreement (so far) regarding partial payment, but this is ongoing.

  John is great project manager and builder. His attention to detail is second to none. He truly cares and will spend time with you to make sure you’re truly happy. Where problems arise, he goes out of his way to set things right, using the best people to get the job done to the highest level. I started off using him for my extension. But, it was his excellence and ability of his team that encouraged me to instruct him to complete my bathroom and fireplace. You truly get the best build for the best price. I have no doubt I’ll have John and his team completing more work in the future.

  To prepare floor and lay engineered wood flooring

  I've known of John (JCK) for a while, however this is the first job commissioned. John was honest and upfront about what was needed to prepare the floor as we had choosen tounge and grove flooring instead of clip together. The job was completed by John and Mike (carpenter) in less than the estimated time, we are very pleased with the result. The floor is an excellent fit, the guys where tidy and took the time to discussion small tweaks to the plan we encountered quirks of the house. Highly recommended
