10 Rising Damp on Chimney breast wall

I recently had Jag Remedials carry out damp proofing on my chimney breast wall, and i couldn't be happier with the servcie. From start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The issue was clearly explained and the steps that would need to be taken to resolve it. I would personally highly recommend JAG Remedials. Very professional and did an excellent job damp proofing the cellar. After the job was completed they cleaned and tidied up to a very high standard….. I was impressed! We have used JAG remedials before and where happy to seek their advice for an area of mould on a ceiling. Alan was very flexible matching his visit to a time to suit me and confirmed the mould was due to condensation and a lack of air flow. He has now very neatly fitted a new air brick to the wall and the existing mould has been removed and the area treated. Alan is one of my customers at work and asked him to come and look at a damp problem running the length of our house. It is a 1860 terrace house on a steep hill, the next doors floor level is 1 meter above ours. He came to the house and told us we need a damp membrane. Gave us a quote and fitted us in for the work. When they arrived they covered everything with dust sheets and fitted a carpet protector. Removed the old plaster and fitted the membrane. Really good communication and very clear instructions of the process. They were friendly and informative. They protected my furniture and the place was left tidy and in good condition. JAG Remedials Ltd was born from a family of already well experienced tradesmen. We started off as your simple maintenance company, but as time has passed, we've allowed ourselves to grow as a business and expand to what has now become our speciality, remedial works.
The company has over 30 years’ experience in damp proofing alone. We have worked with both domestic and commercial clients, allowing us to feel comfortable in any working environment. Numerous landlords with large portfolios use us as their primary contact regarding any remedial work. This gives us the chance to use our customer relations expertise on both clients and their tenants as well. Depending on the type of work you have done, most of our damp proofing work comes with a 10-year guarantee, and you will receive a certificate upon completion of the work to show this. Any other work you have completed by us comes with a 12-month guarantee.
