  Patio laying

  What can I say. They came exactly when they said they would, from quote to actually doing the work. He kept in contact with us for everything, From delivery times of materials to when he would arrive . Everything was left tidy and clean afterwards and the new Patio looks fantastic. Will be using him again for future work. Highly recommend Holmes building & repairs

  Underpinning and rebuilding stone wall

  Excellent - we did not hesitate to get Martin to underpin and rebuild our stone wall as we have always been extremely pleased with his work for us over the last eight years. This work was particularly challenging and we are so grateful to Martin for rebuilding the wall so well and for his advice and good communication. We were away for a few days and Martin sent regular updates, finished the wall and cleared everything away - fantastic.

  Garden

  Spoke to Trader on the phone a on Friday, and confirmed that he had had done a similar job recently and could do it again, no problem. he agreed to come round on 29th April @4pm. Called him on Monday to confirm the appointment, he never replied, didn't turn up without even letting me know, did not reply again, i rang the following day and left a message, saying that i would make a complaint to checkatrade if i did not hear back from him, which i did not want to do. Told him that if their was a family emergency i would understand and we could move on, only then did he send a text message to my

  Retaining garden wall & replace garden fence.

  All work carried out as quoted to a very high standard at a reasonable price. Site was left clean & tidy. Martin did a very good job both visits on time and when he said he would start and finish. Our tenant and his neighbours were very happy with him and no complaints what so ever. We will use Martins services again and highly recommend him.

  New Concrete Slope

  This is the second time I have asked Martin Holmes to do work for me. The previous job was a shed base his work was excellent. This time it was a concrete slope leading to a private pathway . Firstly the description of what he was going to do was very clear. The new slope he built was first class to the extent some of my neighbours have said impressed with it even my neighbours 5 year old son. Martin is a very polite man and easy to do business with.
