  from start to finish Dave and hb5 was brilliant . there time frame was spot on and the work was blinding . Jay and the boys were on time every day if not they was early. overall I am really pleased with their finish and I highly recommend them . their attention to detail is off the scale . also the communication between them and we was brilliant

  I had damp proofing done on my basement

  Good customer service.. the workmen came and explained the process and started the works...they completed my basement to a good standard I was very happy... I would definitely recommend to a friend

  Extractor fan dripping

  Came out in April 2024 to fix a dripping extractor fan - cost was high but seemed to fix the issue. By winter it was dripping again, water collecting in a bend in the duct. Got them to come back Jan 2025. They tried to tell me it was coming from a leak in the roof & quoted £6k for a new ridge system! One of them up-ended the duct in the loft, sending loads of dirty water down into the bathroom through the fan. In the end got a proper roofing company in, who said the issue was condensation. Cost just over £300 to shorten the pipe and do minor repairs, no issues since. Will avoid HB5 in future.

  You had water ingress from defected roof and your old extractor was faulty which we replaced vents on top of your ridge allowing water into property we quoted new dry ridge system create water tight Apologise if you was not happy with Qoute provided

  Fixing mould / damp issues

  HB5 came out to check what work needed to be done. They were desperate to get in and out, despite me asking them to check the whole house. Immediately told me we’d have to rip everything down and start again. I got a quote through from someone else at the company, going off just a few photos, for £22.5k. TWENTY TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND POUNDS. Genuinely it made me sick with anxiety for a few days. We got two other companies out who have said almost all the work recommend to be done by HB5 was not needed - quotes were less than £2k from elsewhere. Absolutely sickening behaviour from HB5. AVOID.
