  Washer dryer repair

  We had a washer dryer leaking from the drawer and had the engineer investigate. Despite finding no fault, he was friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. The leak may have been caused by too many pieces of clothes, too much weight. We keep monitoring the issue.

  Washing Machine repair/replacement

  Really efficient and polite service - H&D attended promptly - assessed the damage and gave me an option for repair or replacement. I chose repair in the first instance so they ordered the parts and returned to fit. Sadly it transpired the machine was beyond repair, so I was not charged for the parts, they waived the call out and then organised a replacement at very short notice - all with impeccable communication and politeness. So I am delighted to be able to recommend H&D wholehearteartedly! Thank you so much!

  Dishwasher repair

  I agreed to a £50 call-out fee, which was 100% fair. But when the engineer arrived, he found my dishwasher wasn’t broken, it was just a faulty plug socket. Instead of a real repair, he simply used my own extension cable to plug it into another socket and charged me an EXTRA £50 for this “fix.” The visit was so quick I didn’t even have time to sort a parking permit. Charging £50 for something so minor feels like a complete rip-off. If you’re happy to pay for the smallest things, that’s your choice, but be aware before booking!

  The problem was traced to the power supply; we understand that it may seem like a simple fix in hindsight, but diagnosing and resolving electrical issues still requires professional assessment and intervention.we always strive to provide honest service.

  Fitting of new extractor fan
