  Damp proofing

  James and his team did an absolutely outstanding job damp proofing the downstairs of my new home. The work was completed to a very high standard and the plastering finish was perfect. What really impressed me was how helpful and kind James was. He went above and beyond by helping me when my boiler fuse went and even treated woodworm in my downstairs door, which wasn’t part of the original job. He is extremely hardworking, reliable and genuinely cares about his customers. I would highly recommend James to anyone needing damp or woodworm work.

  Woodworm treatment

  James answer my enquiry promptly. Came to my property told me what needed to be done and put my mind at rest. The floorboards that were damaged were replaced by James using a company he had found who could cut the boards to the exact size required. ( Pompey floorboards) and would fit them for me. He fitted the work in the very next day. Explained exactly what he was going to do. James and his colleague worked together and left everything clean and tidy. James also left me some solution to apply to my furniture that was also affected. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James to friends and family

  PIV system installed

  James team did a fantastic job swiftly and efficiently installing a PIV system in my house. It was done in a couple of hours and everything explained and left clean and tidy. Would highly recommend

  James and his colleagues provided an excellent service all round. James provided a thorough quote so I really understood the issue and what needed doing, communication was excellent throughout, he was able to start the work at the weekend so less disruption from me working from home in the week, it was left clean and tidy every night and work was completed on time and to a high standard. I couldn’t recommend enough. Also good value for money

  Install new damp course and replaster. Woodworm treatment too.

  James and the rest from HWD were amazing from start to finish. As a newbie in the renovation world, they not only carried out their own works which they had quoted but also gave me pointers on what to do on certain things and also went above and beyond their scope of work. I would 100% recommend HWD to anybody looking to have damp works or similar carried out. Thank you for doing such a great job.
