  Efficient and courteous service - would highly recommend

  I called Hames & Sons this morning asking for a lock to be replaced at our home. I was given a quote and Ross attended later in the morning at the appointed time. He completed the job in a timely fashion to a high standard, and I was charged the agreed fee. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him and his company to any prospective customers.

  Fantastic company and service

  After an awful experience with another locksmith that left us in the lurch and our Daughters house unsecured, I contacted Hames & Sons Locksmiths through Checkatrade. They are a local independent business, and from the start the service was excellent. I spoke to Ghislane, who was extremely helpful and promptly booked an appointment. Ross arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue as an internal gearbox lock. As the part needed to be ordered, Ross made the house fully secure in the meantime and later returned to install the new lock, doing a fantastic job. Thank you Ross and Ghislane

  Great locksmiths

  Great company. Went out this morning and shut the door behind with the keys in the door on the inside so couldn’t get back in.went and done some running around whilst doing that we called hames & sons they said know problem they would be there in a hour and a half . But like a great firm they called back and they will be earlier so went home straight away he was there waiting for us within minutes he got us in . If you need a reliable and competent tradesman this is the company to use thanks for your fast and efficient work hope I don’t do it again. But will call again if we do😀 10/10

  Great service

  I would definitely recommend using Ross for any lock issues. I messaged yesterday afternoon and new lock installed within 10 minutes today. Great service and no sales spill about this needs replacing or that's not right. Will be using again if I have any other lock issues.

  After having issues with what we thought was the mechanism on our front door, we called Hames & Sons locksmiths out to help, Ross arrived within 2 hours and was really polite, friendly & explained everything as he went along - it turned out not as bad as we expected, Ross was honest and showed me the faulty parts that needed replacing and the bits that didnt. He charged a fair price and I was really happy with the Job, id recommend him to others for definite. Very happy. Thanks Ross
