    Really helpful friendly guy. Was with us within 30 minutes. Took great care not to damage door. Stuck to quoted price although it took a while longer to get us back in. Very good value . Would definitely recommend

    Ross absolutely saved my bacon today. Arrived in under 30 minutes and was super friendly, pricing was totally transparent and most importantly, I got back into my flat! Could not recommend more highly. Brilliant service

    We just that day moved in to our new home in Whitstable and needed new locks fitted to front door. Hames and Son were the perfect choice. All communication was through WhatsApp. Turned up bang on time and was extremely friendly. Would certainly recommend and use again if needed.

    Ross opened my jammed upvc door and replace d the internal mechanism

    I messaged Ross and team out of hours they responded quickly and booked in for the following morning. Ross came out, opened up and replaced my upvc lock. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Very pleased and definitely recommend.

    I rang this company today at 11.30 to sort out a jamming lock - the call was answered promptly by Ghislaine who arranged for Ross to come and sort it just 2 hours later. Very polite, efficient service and someone who obviously cared about providing a professional service - would definitely recommend.

    Quick response and very efficient works carried out

    Prompt call out to check our door, with parts ordered straight away. Returned once the parts arrived, earlier than expected and works were completed very quickly. Very nice staff and an amazing price for all of the works we needed done plus two call outs. Thank you, will definately use again 😊

I'm Ross Hames, owner of Hames and Sons Locksmiths. Since 1997, I've been helping homeowners and businesses across South East Kent with lock repairs, lock replacements, lockouts and security upgrades.

When you contact Hames and Sons, you'll deal directly with me, not a call centre or subcontractor. I'm DBS Checked, Checkatrade Vetted and fully insured for your peace of mind.
