  Two freshly plaster boarded wall needed skimming

  Ali arrived on time and did a fantastic job, everywhere was left clean and tidy. I will definitely call him for my next room.

  Plaster a bedroom

  A text was sent the day before to let me know when they would arrive. They duely arrived on time. We discussed what was required and they carried out the work to a very high standard. I have no complaints at all.

  Tried to charge more on the day

  Came and gave a quote and was accepted. But on the day, started saying they didn't want to do the work quoted (removing laths) and wouldn't remove any rubbish and I would have to pay £50 extra! I cancelled the job and sent them away.

  Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with the experience, but I’d like to clarify what happened from my side. Before starting the job, I provided a clear quote which included moving the laths, and this is all recorded in our messages. At no point did I refuse to carry out the work — I simply asked where you’d like the rubbish moved, as part of doing the job properly. When it came to removing the rubble and taking it to the tip, this would have required additional time and labour, fuel, and tip fees — costs that weren’t included in the original quote. You weren’t happy about the extra charge for this, and I completely understand that everyone has a budget. I politely asked if you’d like to continue with the work under those terms, and you chose not to proceed. I respected your decision, packed up my things, and left. I always aim to provide a fair, transparent service, and I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

  Plastering the whole internal of the house

  I'm really happy with the plastering work done by Ali. The finish is smooth and professional throughout, and the team was punctual, tidy, and respectful of the space. I can remember when the painter came around to see his work, rubbing his hands on wall and just saying 'this man is brilliant. He knows the job'. They kept me informed throughout the process and completed everything on time. I would definitely recommend and use again for future work. I have a bit of work that I'll do in the future and I'll look no further than him.

  Kitchen Refurb

  Ali was great when working on refurbishing our kitchen. Ali’s communication from start to finish was great, he takes a lot of pride in his work and is very honest. Ali removed our old plasterboard & a pantry cupboard, reinsulated our timber frame element & reboarded/skimmed, doing a great job of all of these and leaving a fantastic finish. He also provided a lot of useful advice and tips which helped get the most out of the work. Would definitely recommend Ali and his colleague.
