Patio doesn't drain / applied pressure for early payment / didn't finish the job

Laid a patio which looked good, except it left me with a problem with my lawn (this was not explained at the start of the job). - In heavy rainfall large pools of water form and require sweeping as it doesn't slope to drain as it should - I was asked for payment early due to their 'cashflow' problems. I felt pressured and intimidated (single mum) and stupidly paid the money - Job unfinished (grouting). Failed to respond to my attempts to contact them. Only offered to return AFTER I raised a complaint - They ruined my garden chair covering it in cement and refused to pay to replace it

Everything stated in this review is a lie, the lawn was not quoted for we did that out of our own expense. We came back to grout the following day and you hid the materials and would not answer any of my calls or messages. The reason we asked for payment before the grout was done was because you told us you were booking a flight to Ireland (that same day) and didn’t no when you would return. We also offered to clean your garden chair but you wouldn’t answer any calls from me. We also installed a 2.4m brick step free of charge. You were over the moon woth the job with the job the day we left.

Replacing rotten steps on my decking and replacing a few rotten boards.

Punctual, polite, competitively priced and completed work to a high standard. When they replaced the steps with a lower fall effectively making the staircase longer, against specification, they redid the work to specification without issue at their cost.

The team were great from start to finish, I knew exactly when they were starting, what they were doing each day and when they would finish. They were friendly and did a great job. I would use Green Leaf again for sure.

Garden completely transformed, the team worked hard removing old decking, concrete and plants, and installed new fencing, turf and a new patio. Some areas left untouched though, and some mess left behind. I also finished off the fence posts myself as they needed levelling out. Overall we are enjoying the new space.
