  Great value, friendly, professional carpet fitters I plan to use again for other rooms

  Gpflooring responded quickly and were flexible when my carpet delivery was delayed. They arrived promptly and handled the huge 8.5m x 5m carpet with skill, fitting it beautifully despite the logistical challenges of getting it upstairs. Professional, reliable, good value, and highly recommended — I’ll be using them again in the New Year.

  Laminate flooring install to ground floor

  Booked Gerry earlier in the year to install laminate flooring to conservatory. Very pleased with the results. Rebooked him to return later in the year to do flooring on new kitchen install, again, 1st class job done on all aspects of the install. Would definitely recommend. Always early, great communication and left site tidy on departure.

  Great job laying sisal

  GP Flooring turned up on time after good communication and got straight to the job in hand - laying sisal in two rooms. They worked quickly and neatly and we are very happy with the finished job. Highly recommend.

  Could have been good, let down by lack of care.

  I made it clear multiple times that I was unhappy with the underlay that was used. After acknowledging that it was lumpy and inferior quality, I was told “It is why it is”. Midway through the job I was told that we needed to use vinyl when I had been quoted for laminate and had to barter to get the originally agreed work carried out. Also ended up having to pay extra to have all the excess flooring and waste cleared as there was already a pile outside and “this wasn’t quoted for”. Would not recommend. Will not use again.

  Sorry mr wilsher feels like that, we went behond like we always do. When we arrive, the fireplace was half taken up and in a mess, I sorted it because we couldn’t start work, the step to the kitchen had to be rebuilt which I did,all for no extra cost.

  Carpet refitting and repair

  Gerry was the first one to reply to my request, he asked for measurements and photos. When he said he would phone he did. He arrived on time at the earliest available day. Gerry did a very good job he was polite and a very nice man. We thought the price was very reasonable for the job. We would certainly have him back and certainly recommend him.
