Trying to find reliable builders, then comparing different quotations and estimates can be a daunting experience. With G M Bailey & Sons Ltd I got lucky! I used Checkatrade's find a tradesman feature and Gavin was one of the first handful to contact me. Gavin's no nonsense style, straight talking and sensible pricing won me over. I gave him the architect plans, we discussed some modifications and him and his team just got on with it. Great communication, hard working, pleasant to deal with and a great job done. True professionals. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

We had a great experience with Gavin. He was quick to put right any issues or problems we faced. He was very respectful to both us and our neighbours. Costs were transparent and any changes were quickly communicated. Overall the quality of the build is amazing, a number of neighbours have commented on what a great job Gavin and the team did.

They had to remove an old extension and rebuild it. The quality was very high in all aspects. They did end up being 2-3 weeks behind, but all in all great quality and integrity. I couldn’t recommend them more! I’d certainly hire them again.

Gavin and his team have done an amazing job with our project. The build quality is second to none. Gavin is professional, honest and trustworthy. A man of his word! Re-laid flat roof to a high standard. Re-felted pitched roof which involved removing and replacing the roof tiles. Replaced fascia board on the side of the house. Knocked through wall between extension and internal room, inserted steel and provided plaster finish. Gavin and his roofing and building team were very pleasant to deal with and kept us up to date and informed throughout every step of each job.
