  Fine but very expensive!

  Nice and friendly, and the initial work was quoted and completed. However, very expensive! He charged £60 per hour when I asked him to do a small additional job of changing a couple of light fittings while already on site. It took most of the day and the cost was extremely high for such a simple task. My husband works in construction and was shocked at the price for the job. I would not recommend having any additional work done unless it’s clearly quoted and agreed beforehand.

  Hi Ashley I’m sorry you feel this way, please let me explain. The original job was straightforward; but the additional work wasn't. It involved removing large, heavy 6ft lights from a tall office ceiling. Then rearranging the lighting layout in another office. It takes time to achieve this from below. We had to lazer the new layout and wire the cables in plastic conduit. I couldn't quote you on this; I would normally; but it was spur of the moment additional work. All I can do is cost it per hour and my rate is an industry typical £60/hr for commercial work. I hope you understand,

  Clean, efficient and great communication

  My issue was dealt with by Dave. He came to visit to be able to quote, and did a thorough job in asssessing what was needed and quoted a reasonable price. He kept me informed of progress, which i really liked, then turned up when he said and did what he said he would. Very good, would recommend Dave.

  Outdoor lighting

  Giles has recently installed some outdoor lighting for me. He responded quickly to my initial enquiry and turned up as agreed to complete the work. He discussed the options I had and what would work the best. I certainly would recommend Giles, he was punctual, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced.
