I've had an horrendous time with Garolla, door was fitted, guys left & within an hour door wasn't working, faulty electric box, new one fitted, asked the guys about the manual hand winder as it was difficult to turn they said it was OK, handle snapped still waiting on it getting fixed. Called customer services umpteen times and all they keep saying is it's in hand, door was fitted on 15th October 2025, I had to cancel & pay for concrete as I couldn't get the door open. After the fitter " installed " my door and took my card payment, I went outside to say good bye and noticed all the trim falling off. Then upon closer inspection noticed damage and that the frame was too big for the opening. He said "yes , don't worry mate we know about the problem, it was measured wrong - I only have 50% success rate as they are all measured wrong!" So therefore took my money under false pretences. Im writing this review 23 Days after having the install - I wish I could upload photos. The after sales are shocking, I had a garage door installed 18/09/25. A week later it needed a repair. Ive called customer service every week, sometime twice a week, and the conversation is exactly the same. I give my name, postcode and address, they say hold the line while they contact the local engineer, they come back and say they can't get in touch with him, and they've left a message for them to call me back. As of today 02/11/25 there has been no call. I have no idea why he won't contact me. They're very quick to take payment, and then very quick to forget you. . The worst customer after care service ever. I paid over £1000 for an electric garage door to be fitted. I also paid extra for a sensor to be fitted at the bottom so if something is underneath it will stop and come back up. The fitter is a lovely guy and was great. Unfortunately the after care service is terrible. There was something solid underneath the garage door, unfortunately it failed to detect it and carried on going. I’ve been informed the auto locks broke when that happened. The 2 year warranty finished early this year. I called their telesales for a price, and was told £895 with free fitting and inclusive of VAT. Whilst on the call, I measured the width of the door and the £895 price was confirmed. However, having arranged to be home for their surveyor, the door width was measured and the price rose from £895 to £1110, a £215 / 24% increase in price. This uplift included a £50 electrical cable to run from the door to the electrical socket at the back of the garage (so not fully fitted), and the other £165 was due to the door width being wider than standard (which I measured during my initial call)Verified reviewerJob location: RG41
