Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the plumber Gabriel who came round to install a new vanity unit & shower door for us. He damaged the shower tiles while trying to install the shower door and it was obvious he didn’t really know what he was doing. The vanity unit he fitted was finished poorly with the polish/silicon around it. He said he would tale away the old vanity unit for disposal but I've just discovered he simply left it outside next to my car & drove off.! This is the first time I've experienced something like this!! Really disappointing!
Response from Gabriel Plumbing Solution
Hi Melda,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the experience, but I feel it’s important to clarify a few points.
Before starting the installation, I clearly explained that the shower door you purchased was smaller than the opening and won’t fit correctly. I advised you of this concern at the time. However, you insisted that I proceed with installing it anyway.
The “damaged” tiles are the result of the installation of the shower door you asked me to install and uninstall.
Regarding the old vanity unit, the agreement was that I would remove and dispose of it as part of the full payment
