  Town house re carpeted

  Used the Haywards Heath branch. From entering the shop the whole experience was excellent. Dawn advised us on what carpet would be suitable, our first choice was not suitable for stairs. We took home several samples. Having given Dawn rough estimates of room sizes she worked out quotes, which came within 2sqm of the estimator. Delivery date agreed fitters turned up on time, Marcus and Louie worked non stop for 7 hrs and did a wonderful job One happy customer, highly recommended

  Excellent service from beginning to end! I can't fault Fludes. They were very helpful with suggestions and styles to begin with, to storing the carpet as I wasn't quite ready, to perfect fitting and taking old flooring away. A top notch company!

  Carpet with underlay fitted to my living room.

  This is the 2nd time Fludes have laid a carpet for me. They were so professional last time, I didn't hesitate to go to them again. I couldn't fault them. The chap who came to estimate was super helpful. The fitters, Kurt and Keith, were just astonishing how they had everything done and finished so quickly, didn't leave any mess. My old carpet and underlay just vanished which was what I wanted, they even moved my heavy furniture about and replaced it afterwards, the new carpet is perfect. They were such likeable and courteous chaps and made the whole experience easy for me. I highly recommend!

  Bedroom carpet

  £500 for a bedroom carpet, when fitted a line in the carpet from one wall to another …Dan at Fludes states…it’s not under warranty, it’s the end of the roll and your have to wait two weeks and one day” Be very careful to use this company in Newhaven ….It’s not clear about the warranty….Even if it’s fitted the same day.

  I am sorry that you feel aggrieved, but our intensions are to always give great customer service. From the information you gave us over the telephone, we explained that it was nothing to worry about and perfectly normal of a newly installed carpet. When a manufacturer rolls a carpet on to a tube for transportation the cut edge, tucks into itself, this causes an indentation into the pile it meets. This is called a pole mark and is sometimes visible after installation. As my colleague explained, pole marks normally disappear within 2 weeks, possibly quicker with regular vacuuming as this helps the pile bursts. He also mentioned that if it had not come out, you should call us back after the allotted time to do a service call. I can assure you this does not affect your warranty or statutory rights in any way at all. If you would prefer us to inspect the carpet sooner, please give me a call and I will get a team member to visit promptly.
