6.67 Call-Out Fee Deduction Only Applies Under Certain Conditions

Mr Arafat charges a £45 call-out fee, which in itself is reasonable. He stated that this fee would be deducted from the cost of any repair or replacement. However, when I explained that I intended to purchase a replacement unit independently from Amazon with pre-existing gift vouchers (rather than his ex-display unit), I was then informed that the call-out fee would only be deducted if I proceeded with purchasing his unit.
