  Quality Plastering Job

  This is the second time we have used Firstratefinishes, first time he plastered over two artex ceilings and a wall, this time he boarded, and skimmed hall, stairs and landing plus skimmed one bedroom. Mitch arrived on time each day and kept us updated with his plans for the day. His workmanship is excellent and would have no problem recommending him.

  3 bedrooms, landing and stairs skimming

  Left unfinished due to lack of communication. Assumed area wasn’t being done due to no access even tho in the initial quote I stated everything which needed to be done. Did not offer a resolution or to come back to finish. I asked for a reduction in price and had to find someone else to finish the job with a week to move in. Will not be using again for obvious reasons

  That’s inaccurate, I did offer a resolution, straight away! I happily revised the quote to fit your needs despite this being completely your fault. The cupboard you’re talking about was left completely unprepared, a full size wooden cupboard was still fitted inside filling the whole space! I do not quote for stripping or removal of wallpaper, skirting boards or anything of this nature this is your responsibility. I have a busy schedule and my other customers do not deserve to be let down because of bad preparation on your end hence why I offered price reduction to settle this🙂

  Living room

  Mitch has just finished plastering my living room and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The work was completed to a very high standard with a smooth, flawless finish. He was punctual, professional, and kept everything neat and tidy throughout. I would definitely recommend Mitch to anyone looking for a skilled plasterer.

  Impeccable plastering of two ceilings.

  I would absolutely recommend this company. From the first contact, Mitch arrived on time, gave a fair quote, together with a timescale. His work is impeccable. Two artexed ceilings, transformed with smooth plaster. He completed it within his timescale and made absolutely no mess. He even helped with moving our furniture. A great guy who I would absolutely recommend for this type of work.

  Flat coating of plastering on artex ceiling

  Mitch arrived promptly to assess the job. Gave us a quote and timescale which was adhered to. His workmanship is excellent, leaving no mess. He even helped us with moving furniture. We would highly recommend him.
