  Traditional lime pointing - 208 Maldon Rd

  Absolutely first class! Chris and the team were reliable, dilligent and grafted to get us finished. A true perfectionist, Chris highlighted some pointing that was drying a shade darker (we hadn’t noticed) and rather than leave it he dug it all out and re-did that wall. We genuinely couldn’t be happier with the pointing, air brick renovation, and replacement of blown bricks. Our soft red bricks look incredible against the new pointing, and following his light chemical clean. He is highly recommended and we would not look anywhere else for future masonry/brick work. Sincere thanks to the team.

  Rake out & Re-point 12m2 cement pointing & put back in lime mortar. Install new lead flashing.

  Chris did a great job repointing the back wall of my 1930s house. It was a total mess before he worked his magic. He kept me informed when there was a delay due to the scaffolder running late. He also resolved an additional problem identified while on site, without breaking the bank. As a female client I felt comfortable dealing with Chris. He answered all of my questions, giving clear explanations. He also leaves a very clean site each day. The wall he repointed is the best looking one on the house now. I would definitely recommend Chris. Thanks loads for making my house a lot prettier :)

  Brickwork repointing

  Chris from EMS has done a great job with our bungalow repointing. Chris came over and had a look and he gave advice on what needed to be done. He arrived on the agreed starting date and was reliable throughout. I had quite a few questions and Chris answered promptly. We are so delighted with the work Chris has done and have asked for a quote for more work to be done to build a wall out of the front of the bungalow. I can thoroughly recommend Chris and EMS, top job mate!

  Repair to garden wall hit by vehicle

  Chris and his team were excellent. Came out to see us at short notice to give an estimate. Turned up on the day planned , work completed to a very high standard, all waste was cleared and removed. No hidden costs , I'd use essex masonry again and thoroughly recommend.

  Re-pointing

  Chris and his team worked really well re-pointing the whole of our house. They were very helpful explaining how the work was to be carried out. They were all very polite and always tided up before leaving. We are very pleased with the outcome our house now looks as good as new.
