  Manipulative trader

  The job: old loft boards and insulation taken out, 300 mm of new put in, and a storage platform 16m2. We exchanged emails about exactly the job. He came to my house and gave me a quote for this job. On the morning he and his guy pressured me into accepting a different job, assured me same effect, best, etc. The old boards not removed, no 300 mm of new throughout loft, platform only 11 m2, no air gap. Price £2350 (only took 150 off) for 25 m2 loft (he claimed it was 30 m2)I wrote him on the day and he blew me off until Checkatrade got involved. They ruled in my favor. Going to Court.

  Friendly, efficient and competent.

  George arrived on one of the very hot days that we're experiencing at the moment full of smiles and ready to get going despite the heat. He worked non-stop to take old insulation away and lay new insulation in the loft, having to crawl into tight corners to make sure all was covered and there were no missed patches. Wearing a mask and protective clothing in the heat was not comfortable, but he did an excellent job and is highly recommended.

  I contacted Essex Loft Insulation and spoke to George. From the very first phone call, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and highly professional. We obtained several quotes from other companies and found that not only was George the most competitively priced, but the quality of his workmanship was outstanding. George installed a new loft ladder and topped up our loft insulation, completing the work to an exceptionally high standard. Everything was left clean and tidy, and the whole process was carried out professionally from start to finish. Highly recommended!

  Insulation and Boarding

  Had loft insulation renewed and a small section of boarding fitted for storage. George and his team were very professional throughout and explained fully what was being carried out. Communication throughout the process was very professional and I would definitely use George and his team in the future and have already recommended to friends who require similar works.

  Loft Insulation Upgrade

  George was one of the few tradespeople who is communicative, organised and prompt, which alone makes him stand out! unbelievable work ethic meant that insulation for a four bed house was done in about 3 hours, all fully certified. Will definitely keep in mind for future jobs. thank you!

  Such a JOY to work with

  I needed to install loft insulation in my victorian terrace house in Stratford. George was an absolute delight to work with from the moment I called him up for a quote to his finishing the job. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, punctual and good fun too. Nothing was too much trouble. My loft was full of junk which he kindly organised to clear for me, worked tidily and quickly and now I have 300mm of high quality insulation all installed at a reasonable price - and done in a days work.
