I was told over the phone that the call-out fee was £60 and that any additional work would be quoted before proceeding. However, when the plumber arrived, he just tightened a few bolts, which took less than two minutes, and then charged me £250. Even though he never gave me a quote and I never agreed for the work to be carried out. This feels completely dishonest and unethical. When I challenged him on this he became very insistent and rude and demanded that I pay him on the spot. Please avoid this company at all cost! Called out as boiler was not working. Engineer wrote the boiler off as soon as he walked in. He moves onto the cylinder and starts to mess about with the electrical wire, claims to fix it and tells me that hot water will be up and running in an hour. He switches off the boiler and leaves. Hours later I complain as still no hot water. I am now faced with a rude and aggressive person on whatsap, presumably the owner who is not interested in hearing my complaint. Called out a new engineer who tells me one of the rads had a leak and pressure had dropped, boiler is now working! Stay clear......Verified reviewerJob location: HA9
