Called Dave in the morning and he turned up later that afternoon - exactly when he said he would and he also let me know when he was en route. It was a very tricky problem with both toilet and shower outlets blocked plus back-up in the main sewer. After trying several different methods and techniques the toilet was successfully unblocked and so was the main sewer. Dave also gave me some tips on how to avoid the problem in the future.
