The replacement of the sockets and switches proved more complex than originally thought but Downlight came proposed a solution and then came back to complete the job in a timeley manner. All three electricians involved were pleasant to deal with

EV Charger Installation

Downlight have done work for us in the past which we have been very happy with. This current job was to install an EV charger. Very happy with the initial survey and explanation. Also the installation was very good, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, who explained everything clearly to us regarding the charger and the app. Would definitely recommend.

Very impressed. Wanted EV charger installed and several other smaller electrical jobs (new lights in garage, new extractor fans, security lights checked and fitted). Quote was reasonable. Electrician (Elliot) on time, very professional, did an excellent job, worked quickly and left the place tidy. First class service. Happy to recommend.

Downlight Electrical was founded in 2018 after months of research and market analysis.

Noticing a gap in the local market for a trustworthy, honest and reliable electrical contractor, Charlie formed Downlight Electrical as a side-line project alongside his full-time job in events. Lee was working as an experienced electrician and after collaborating on several jobs through 2018, the pair formed Downlight Electrical Ltd in early 2019.

Expanding under the motto “small enough to care and large enough to cope” the company took off and quickly gained a positive reputation in the local area. Based in Fleet, Hampshire, Downlight Electrical has great access to the south coast and all parts of London. We are VAT registered, NICEIC accredited and fully insured. With consistent, transparent and competitive pricing Downlight has a growing customer base throughout the South of England and is striving to become the go-to contractor.
