  Electric oven not working. Darren replaced an element

  Washer/dryer shorted out the ground floor immediately it was switched on.

  Problem occured on Friday morning. In the evening chose 5 repairers from Checkatrade. They forwarded my job details to one repairer on Saturday morning. The repairer contacted me later in the day and I agreed to his suggestion for him to come on Monday morning between 9am and 11am. He arrived on time, pulled out macine and within 15 minutes diagnosed that the heater element was causing the shorting. Luckily he had a spare replacement element in his van. Element replaced and washer working successfully. Took him just over an hour all told.

  Cooker not reaching correct temperature

  Darren’s communication was excellent, was in touch very quickly to arrange appointment and turned up as agreed. Issue was not entirely clear but Darren explained options and implications. Work completed after part ordered and hopefully is now working properly (I have only used once since).

  Washing was overfilling

  Darren came out quickly to check out washing machine, and diagnosed it quickly and explained what fix was required. All done and dusted on site, nice clean job.
