We had an issue with dry rot in the subfloor space of our house - Don produced a high quality survey and diagnosed that the cavity wall insulation had dropped down and was causing damp under the house. Martin carried out all of the work to a high standard, clearing the cavity of all of the damp insulation, installing extra air bricks for ventilation and treating the dry rot. The ventilation seems much better under the house now.

We had a brief visit from Dom with the fear of the dreaded Death-watch Beetle in a main beam. It was a relief when Dom found the culprit was a picture frame oozing with woodworm. Could not be happier, quick efficient diagnosis, would highly recommend.

Don did the initial inspection report, followed by Kevin hacking off the plaster and applying the damp treatment, and Gary doing the re-plastering. All in all, a very good experience from people that really knew their stuff. All were professional and efficient throughout and it was reassuring to deal with trustworthy and reliable tradespeople. It was also a very reasonable price and everything was left clean and tidy. Very happy to recommend them to others and I would happily use them again.

Great team, carried out the work quickly to a high quality and left the site clean

We needed an investigation completed on the kitchen floor of a propety we are currently purchasing, after coming across the Don Hobbs website we knew we had found the people for the job. After an initial email, everything was organised to be carried out at 9:30am the next day, at 3pm that day we received an extremely detailed 13 page report with hand drawn diagrams, taken images, recomendations and a very reasonable quote. We could not be happier and it has really put our minds at rest, thank you again, 10/10 experience!

Don did some damp proofing work a couple of years ago and was excellent in diagnosing the issue and carrying out the works. He also popped by today and diagnosed a separate issue, which has been a massive help. Would highly recommend.
