  removing old and hanging new shower screen and doors

  I got a quick reply when posted job asking for a bit more information on job. got even quicker reply that they could do job and price. they kept me updated with when they would arrive. They arrived on time and within 6 days and did a great job and tidied up leaving everything clean and tidy. Great guys would definitely use again.

  Roof of a lean too and media wall

  The job was for a media wall originally and I also asked him could he repair the roof of my pergola. He said yes but he wouldn’t answer my messages. Finally he gave me a date for the pergola where he replaced 9 thin sheets of corrugated plastic. I asked would it be strong enough and in his words “that’s going nowhere “ and I paid him £520. As for the media wall I gave him £600 he asked for, for supples. Still he didn’t answer my messages. I asked for my £600 back because I was just fed up trying to contact him. That took a bit of time.   The original quote was for a media wall with shelves either side. Customer was not sure where to get the fire from as it was going to require glass sides. I informed her that I could order it on her behalf. I took £600 that was the total cost of the fire and ordered it. When the fire was out for delivery, she changed her mind and opted for cupboards either side of the media wall, which would require a solid sided fire. I therefore had to cancel the order and re order the solid sided fire. She then called again when that fire was out for delivery and said she had wanted shelves either side, which again required cancelling the order. That is when I made the decision not to carry out this work. I said I would refund the £600 once it was refunded to me from the fire supplier as I had to purchase the second fire separately meaning I was out £1200 in total. As soon as the money was refunded to me I refunded it to her As for the pergola she had requested like for like sheets and the first I had heard of any issues was when I received this review. I had no further communication with her from when I cancelled the job. Had she come to me direct I would certainly have rectified any issues and or refunded where appropriate.

  Kitchen update

  They came out to measure up & said they’d give me a quote. They never got back to me. They are unreliable & unprofessional. Would not recommend.

  Cupboard doors

  Super pleased with the cupboard doors that Garry built for us. Justifiable cost given the materials used and labour time. Garry was able to get the work done quickly, and got an acceptable colour match for the paint so that it’ll fit in with our furniture. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to get his expertise on our next home project.

  Garage door replacement

  Garry was a complete professional with the whole process. Measured the job and gave a detailed breakdown of the work to be done. Job was done with a high level of detail, no corners cut. All clean and tidy and the old materials taken off site. I've no hesitation in recommending him.

  Stair treads to loft conversion replaced

  Garry and his partner did a great job replacing the creaking stair treads up to the loft. They were very professional, pointing out what was causing the problem and then making improvements by adding batons to the underside of the treads as they replaced them. They were polite and courteous and worked around the hours that we were able to be at home. They also made sure that the place was clean and tidy when they finished for the day. I would highly recommend.
