  New garden wall

  James and his team have done an amazing job for us. They recently carried out a substantial project involving the demolition of an existing wall and replacing it with a high quality new wall complete with piers. In addition James built retaining walls and created a terraced landscaping area. James’s attention to detail was outstanding, him and his team were always punctual, communicated very well and left the site each day immaculate. It is clear they take pride in their work and really care about customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend DBC

  Remove render, repair brickwork and repoint.

  James and his team Dan, Granit and Shane worked very hard and did a fantastic job on my end of terrace Victorian house. Not only that, they were all trustworthy, super polite and respectful leaving things neat and tidy at the end of the day. Kara who looks after the admin was super-efficient and polite. xx Couldn’t recommend DBC more highly in terms of professionalism and quality of workmanship at a competitive price. I’ll ask them back again if anything else needs doing. (I’ve had lots of compliments on the work done from people passing by.)

  Loose pillar at the front gate of the house.

  We were glad to have our pillar done by the guys at distinctive brickwork. The top of the pillar had become loose and was in danger of following over. Not only was the work done to a good standard, but the professionalism and transparency from the start regarding how long it would take and costing was hugely appreciated.

  Reducing height of wall, adding pillars and swooped side

  James and his team did an exemplary job getting me out of a tricky spot, with the council threatening to tear down my garden wall. He updated the structure to make it compliant, and to be frank did a much neater job than the builder who had erected it in the first place. They worked quickly and professionally, took away the waste, and cleaned up well after themselves. Kara, who manages the admin, was also very responsive. Would happily recommend to anyone.

  Repaired & rebuilt garden wall

  Highly recommend James from Distinctive Brickwork & Construction. Great work at a competitive price and a nice guy too. James clearly explained our options and helped us keep the cost down by reusing existing bricks where possible (car had hit our wall!) He turned up on time, did a fab job and left the area clean. Really happy with the service and won't hesitate to contact him in future.
