  Replacement fence post and 2 closeboard panels

  Robin arranged a convenient time to view the damaged fence after photos had been sent. Once the quote was accepted it was easy to arrange a suitable date and Robin kept in contact to let me know exactly when he’d be arriving. If any more of my fencing needs replacing I will certainly be contacting Designscapes for the work.

  Landscaping and re-turfing of garden area and patio re-pointing

  Amazing. Exceeded all expectations. From start to finish it was handled efficiently, which included follow-up to my initial enquiry, visit to inspect/assess, and the communications regarding payment and general arrangements. Transformed a rear garden area within a day and I was amazed at how tidy the area was when then left. Designscapes really have their act together. Thanks to all the team. Cracking job. Well done. How refreshing!

  Build a garden gazebo

  Steven has helped me to choose and buy the new gazebo/pergola. After the purchase Steven built the gazebo to very high standards. He kept me informed at all times what he is doing and how long it will take. I would highly recommend them.

  Jet wash and repointing 2 patios and re-boarding decking

  The work was rushed and not professionally finished, the materials used were cheaper/lower quality than we were led to believe. We have therefore been considerably overcharged and been left with some work that will need doing again immediately and some in the near future due to low quality materials. Specific complaint on decking: all boards in sub-standard condition, worse than the decking it replaced. Fee was far too high as it is cheap soft wood- not what like original. Finishing left. Patios- Cement used instead of Geo-fix (verbally agreed), loose paver, old pointing mess. Overcharged.

  Very dissapointed in this customers feedback. 230 plus customers cannot be wrong. What the customer fails to mention is that we visited twice so they was aware and happy with the works we carried out. Due to changing there mind several times, failed to say the new deck boards same as the previous material used was laid on the old wooden frame which needed replacing to which was advised. Amended the quote 4 times as the other quotes was not within budget. The old patio was laid on a very poor sub-base and has sunk which the customer was aware of. Originally we quoted for a new base and patio for that reason, so fully aware or would of not wanted a quote originally for a new base and patio. The customer opted for a jet wash and re point due to budget. We did go back to re bed a paver and there was no mention of cheap decking being used but was only praised by him who has left the feedback and even gave us wine. The customer said he checked all the boards and was happy with these other then one which we also changed! The customer accepted the quote and paid in full a week later on completion of the works.

  New fencing erected and overgrown shrubs removed

  The guys turned up one time, worked really hard and were so pleasant to talk to. The work was top notch, fence posts very strong and sturdy, fence panels neat and straight. It took ages to drag out a difficult overgrown pyracantha but they struggled with it and finally got it out, roots and all - and everything done with a smile. Excellent work and we are delighted with it. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
