  Seemingly can turn his hand to any job

  Derek initially came to do some painting, he made an excellent job. Since then he has also insulated and part boarded a loft. Installed a new loft ladder. He has repaired some guttering at the back of my garage. He is coming back in January to do some fencing and replace some border stones. He turns up when he says he will and always lets me know if there will be an unavoidable delay. I am busy making a list of all the other jobs that I need doing. It is difficult to get people like this. You might have to wait to get work done but he is worth the wait.

  Various decorating and handyman jobs after moving into a new house

  Derek has been simply amazing and has helped us so much with getting our house together after moving in. He can turn his hand to just about anything and the results have been fantastic. I can’t recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a decorator and/or handyman with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is polite and trustworthy and above all great at what he does look no further than Derek.

  I recently asked for a quotation on Check a Trade and Derek responded promptly to fit a mirror and install shelves in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results.   Replacing stone wall with fences

  I needed my old 110ft long stone wall taken down and replaced with fences. Derek came over and provided a quote which was very competitive. Despite the bad weather Derek worked flat out and did the whole job on his own. Initially I was surprised that it was only him but after seeing what he accomplished in 1 day my concern disappeared, he's a very hard worker. He was polite, tidy and professional throughout. I've attached some photos before and after to show the high level of quality he provides. We're already looking at the next job for Derek and I would recommend him to anyone.

  A star worker

  Derek has done several jobs for me over many years now. He has just installed my new bathroom and has made a really fantastic job of it. His work is always to a very high standard. He has a multitude of skills and whenever I need anything fixing in my house or garden he is always the first person I contact. He is always punctual, and can turn his hand to anything and will never let anyone down. He is completely reliable and trustworthy and I can thoroughly recommend him.
