Derek painted our bedroom in 6 hours. He even came the day before to patch up when we made a big hole by mistake - on a Sunday as well! He’s efficient, punctual, and does a quality job. Will definitely use again.

Derek initially came to do some painting, he made an excellent job. Since then he has also insulated and part boarded a loft. Installed a new loft ladder. He has repaired some guttering at the back of my garage. He is coming back in January to do some fencing and replace some border stones. He turns up when he says he will and always lets me know if there will be an unavoidable delay. I am busy making a list of all the other jobs that I need doing. It is difficult to get people like this. You might have to wait to get work done but he is worth the wait.

Derek has been simply amazing and has helped us so much with getting our house together after moving in. He can turn his hand to just about anything and the results have been fantastic. I can’t recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a decorator and/or handyman with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is polite and trustworthy and above all great at what he does look no further than Derek.

I recently asked for a quotation on Check a Trade and Derek responded promptly to fit a mirror and install shelves in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He was efficient and always arrived on time, which I really appreciated. Their clean working style left my space tidy, and they were friendly and approachable throughout the process.
