    Boiler repair great, but near zero aftercare

    My boiler was damaged during the storm in January 26 and was covered under my insurance. Dan came out quickly and completed the repair promptly and to a high standard. I made Dan aware this was an insurance job, not expecting any insurance hold-ups - I decided to pay Dan from my own pocket, communication had been good till payment, then the insurance requested a more itemised invoice before they would pay out to which I forwarded the request to Dan. After mutliple requests I was simply ignored by him. We're a young family so it's been a challenging few weeks, this being the cherry on top.

    I'm sorry that you feel ignored, but as it clearly shows on our communication that I have on numerous occasions provided information and adjusted my invoice to help your claim with your insurance company. This time of year is an extremely busy period and I work on my tools for the majority of the day. A phone call reminder would have been appreciated and I could have sent you the required information. This job was completed with a very short turnaround, knowing that you had a newborn child in the property. My main concern was that you had heating and hot water as a priority for your child

    Quick response, arrived same day to assess damages and came back a couple of days once parts had arrived to fix the storm damaged boiler. Dan obviously knows his stuff and had us back in action in no time. Would recommend and thanks again.

    Brilliant response and service

    We had to call Dan out as an emergency during the Christmas and new year period for a boiler that had shut down. We are a Holiday site with cabins in the Valley near Perranporth so it was vital to get it fixed. Dan was both on time, same day response, and was a true to his word in getting us up and running again. We could not be happier with the service we received from HWEL services. And his pricing was very competitive to top it all !
