  I highly recommend David and his team

  We had an old patio, David and his team came in a dug us a new pond and then built us a new patio and wow, what a difference. I highly recommend David and his team, he has also done other work for us, roofing, oak porch way, all tasks completed as per his quote, so if you need a task David is the man for the job.

  Remove damaged tarmac surface from driveway and replace with Cotswold buff stone.

  When replacing our driveway, Dave couldn't have been more helpful in listening to our wants and needs and suggesting materials to meet these and our budget. He and his team were friendly, respectful, hard working and knowledgeable. Our job was completed on time and on budget despite challenging weather conditions and Dave was flexible when unexpected challenges presented themselves. We are thrilled with the result and will be using Dave and his team again. Highly recommended to all!

  Reliability and professionalism

  I recently had my old decking replaced with patio tiles, including the front garden. The quality of workmanship was exceptional, which is why I continue to use this company. They work cleanly and tidily and are fully committed to delivering excellent results on every job.

  Roll on the summer to use our brilliant new patio!

  Dave & lads, including Dad, said they’d be here at 8am & they were. They worked their socks off taking up the old concrete slabs, about 50 sq m, & took it for recycling.They sorted the foundations & built up the required levels as the old patio didn’t ‘run’ properly. Everything Dave explained on his initial site visit, went to plan. They worked cleanly and left the place tidy, too. We had sandstone & they meticulously checked for levels etc. They worked extremely well as a team, Dad mixing the mortar, others carrying slabs, sorting the drain covers etc. It ‘s amazing!   Path & Patio Landscaping - Excellent

  I contacted David based on reviews saying would work with clients to help them translate their ideas into reality. I had drawn a plan as to where I wanted a new pathway; gravelled area, and patio areas. David paid a 1st visit and gave time to discuss my ideas, advise what materials might be suitable. He sent me links to setts, pavers and shingle. He provided a quote based on price per square metre as my job wasn't straightforward. David made a 2nd site visit to spray paint outlines. David and team were professional, tidy and I am so pleased with the quality of the work and how it looks

  Enitre Garden repaved/resurfaced

  We wanted our garden repaved and I came across David Newnham Building and Surfacing and so glad I did. David came out to give a free quote and took our situation and needs into account and wanted to keep the price of the job as low as he could for us. He came within our budget and the team of 3 delivered an outstanding job. It was clear chatting with David through out that he had a wealth of knowledge and experience and especially in the surfacing aspect. He is very customer focused and wants to meet you needs while keeping the cost down and thrives on having a great reputation
