I was told on the survey that the cost of the woodworm treatment would be no more than £1000 (including tax). The final price quoted (almost 3 weeks later) was £1200, at the top end of the range amongst competitors. When I emailed saying this was too expensive I was not engaged with, just sent a bill for £144 for the survey (which lasted less than 10 minutes). Croft then explained this was because they had to move insulation in the loft to treat the woodworm. This is not exactly a surprise when treating woodworm in a loft. I could only choose an overpriced service or a very expensive survey

From the damp survey to completion of the job, Croft showed competence and caring. What in the past was a really messy intrusive job was completed with very little disruption to my household. The debris was cleaned up immediately and kept the dust to a minimum. I will definitely use Croft again and recommend them others

We had walls damp proof and within a year of this being done, the damp was still bad in fact, worse. Trying to get them to come out and do the work was challenging and finally the boss came out and agreed to the work. When they came out, they left us with wallpaper on another wall damaged and needed to be replaced. I was left with a leaking radiator and even though they did fix this problem, it had lifted my floorboards and I have not been can offered any compensation. I also need to plaster the wall that they’ve done as it’s uneven. I have sent emails but I have had no response.
