During busy peak times, we generally only take on larger, new joinery jobs. If you only have one or two windows or other projects that you need assistance with, if we can't help, we will normally know someone who can.

We provide a call-out service for cord changes, stuck sashes, and re-glazing.

Enquiries lodged by email are received by the office immediately and are your 'written record' of your enquiry.

We aim to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible.

Since all Quotations are valid for 30 days, we recommend waiting until you are ready to proceed with works within the next 12 weeks before requesting your free site visit and quote. For minor/smaller jobs, a site inspection is not normally required.

HISTORY

Our Traditional Timber Craftsman, Gareth, has worked on some of Brighton & Hove's most historic buildings, from 17th-century barn buildings to the crafting of the beautiful replica Victorian oak doors that you see today at Brighton Town Hall, to complex architectural joinery work on the beautiful Regency windows of the landmark 19th-century building at Wykeham Terrace. Brighton born, and combining all three important qualities of a knowledgeable, creative Joiner (qualifications, breadth of experience & the highest level of skill) - and with a love and natural flair for all things wood - he is the only local Period Property Craftsman with both a wooden boat building and antique restoration background. With our timber expertise, you can therefore be assured that we apply the same skill, care, and technology to preserving Brighton's original period windows (susceptible to rot from our harsh climate and exposed seafront location) as we do to a beautiful timber boat, as the appearance of a joint is as important as its strength.
