  I contacted check a trade this morning to find an emergency locksmith after spending the night before unable to lock my bifold door . I was worried as my house was unsecured and I had my grandaughter staying over. I was also worried it was going to cost me a small fortune . I messaged check trade at 6.45 am and before 7 my phone rang .. it was Dean from Cotswolds and Avon locksmith. We facetimed so he could see the problem .. did some tests with the key and handles to diagnose fault . He then helped me remove part and realign it It locked !! What a star ! genuine good guy ! 100% recommend!

  Great emergency locksmith

  Our front door decided to jam and we could not open it. Dean was very helpful and he advised on the phone what it could be and the options for us. He was able to come over on the same day. As he was fixing the door, he talked us through what he was doing. The door was very difficult due to how it had previously been fitted, previous owners had glued it in places. Dean powered on through and did not leave until he fixed it and replaced the broken part and realligned the door. Dean was very friendly and helpful in a stressful situation. Would definitely recommend!

  Fantastic Window Lock Repair

  Dean repaired several faulty window locks in our home and did a brilliant job. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly. The windows now lock properly and feel much more secure. I would definitely use Cotswolds & Avon Locksmiths again in the future.

  After our front door lock snapped unexpectedly, we called Cotswolds & Avon Locksmiths for help. Dean responded incredibly quickly and replaced the damaged lock the same evening. He worked efficiently and made sure the door was secure before leaving. Outstanding emergency service and very reasonable pricing.

  Fitting a new Euro lock to an entrance door as the previous one was old and seized up.

  Dean arrived on time with a large range of locks. He picked the correct one after removing the old one and fitted it in a very timely and efficient professional fashion. He’s a very pleasant chap and I would thoroughly recommend him to everyone. The price was very fair, work fantastic and gentleman wonderful.
