Really excellent service - I’d highly recommend. Dean was really responsive, communicative, friendly and reliable. He did a great job of a tricky, bespoke unlocking task. We appreciated how he talked us through what he was trying and he showed real expertise and improvisation to successfully get our door opened - a task that had stumped another locksmith. He was very honest about the options available to us to fix the door and helped with guidance on how to avoid being ripped off by glaziers for that follow-on work. Dean communicated well about what was required and turned up as arranged. He was very friendly and efficient giving us options to choose from that fitted or requirements. He worked quickly, cleaned up after himself and gave us a fair price. We will use him again if we need to.

I contacted check a trade this morning to find an emergency locksmith after spending the night before unable to lock my bifold door . I was worried as my house was unsecured and I had my grandaughter staying over. I was also worried it was going to cost me a small fortune . I messaged check trade at 6.45 am and before 7 my phone rang .. it was Dean from Cotswolds and Avon locksmith. We facetimed so he could see the problem .. did some tests with the key and handles to diagnose fault . He then helped me remove part and realign it It locked !! What a star ! genuine good guy ! 100% recommend!
