  Gas safety inspection on gas boiler

  Requested a gas safety check on a property I am purchasing. Provided contact details of the agent to arrange appointment. Never contacted the agent and stopped responding to my messages. Have now instructed another company, not from checkatrade, who will also be installing new gas appliances including a number of new radiators.

  New heating system

  We recently had a new boiler and pipework installed and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and clearly very skilled at what they do. The engineers arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and carried out the work with minimal disruption to our home. What really stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness—everything was left spotless at the end of each day, and the final result was incredibly neat and well.   Heat exchange replacement

  Very knowledgeable, reliable, communicated well. Turned up when he said he would which is a rarity nowadays.... Clean and tidy and explained what he was doing before doing the task at hand. Would highly recommend and will use again.

  Replacing and repairing heating valves

  Arrived within 24 hours. Diagnosed the problem very quickly, repaired one valve and replaced the other. Also gave some advice on other parts of the system, together with a quote to have work done if we decide to. Very nice guy, reliable and clearly knew what he was doing, even though it’s not a standard system.

  Gas hob replacement

  I had my gas hob replaced today. It wasn’t a complicated job — just swapping out the old hob for a new one — but I wanted to be sure the gas pressure was correct and there were no leaks. Peter responded to my Checkatrade message almost immediately and was able to book me in just a couple of days later. He was punctual, handled the replacement with care, and carried out the work professionally. On top of that, he was friendly, had a great attitude, and offered a competitive price. Highly recommended!
