  refurbishment of lounge

  A huge thank you to Ricky and his team for transforming our tired looking lounge into a stunningly vibrant room. With many aspects to the project - electrics, fitting of french doors, emulsioning walls & ceiling and laying new wooden floor, Ricky efficiently co-ordinated each aspect. Several skilful people often worked harmoniously side by side e.g. the electrician reinstalling the lights while the carpenter was laying the new floor - it was indeed team work that completed our project in just 3 weeks. Everyone helped with moving our furniture. We recommend Clarkes of Brighton to you.

  Roof and gutter repairs

  Thank you to Ricky and his team. Everything went smoothly with the job. Ricky arranged for the scaffolders to attend first thing in the morning, his team then completed the work and the scaffolding came down the same afternoon - very quick and efficient. The team were friendly, polite and tidy. We valued Ricky's experience.

  Full natural slate re-roof in conservation area

  Absolutely fantastic work by Ricky and team on our commercial property in a conservation area in Kemp Town. They carried out a full re-roof in natural slate with lead gullies, and we are delighted with the finished product (see photos). We met a few different roofing companies, and not only was Clarkes of Brighton's quote very reasonable, we appreciated them taking the time to talk us through the various options and issues rather just saying "you need a new roof" like some of the others did. Punctual, fun to work with, tidy, went above and beyond and did a cracking job, what more can i say.

  Roof repair

  Before a quote was provided, Ricky spent considerable time trying to find the source of our leak. Others had said we needed a whole new roof. An investigation scaffold was put up, issue confirmed, scaffold extended, repair job done, all in just a few days. Quick, quality, reasonable price. Thank you to the Clarkes team!
