  Chris was great - fast to respond, by far the cheapest quote we received, started within 48 hours, completed ahead of time and to a very high standard. Couldn't have asked for anything more from a tradesman, would highly recommend.

  C Holmes painting prepped and painted both the exterior of our house (windows, masonry and front door), our hallway (walls and stairs), one wall in our living room damaged by damp and utility room (which was a mess due to water ingress). I was very pleased with the work particularly in the utility room, which has now been transformed into a usable space and the exterior which looks lovely. They really did a really good job and for a reasonable price. I have recommended them to a friend who needs the exterior of their house painted.

  Quality far below expectations

  Chris arrived on time as agreed, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was very poor for what should have been a straightforward painting job — one colour, premium paint, no tricky features. We ended up with a long list of issues after the first inspection. Chris did come back to fix them, but the results only got worse. In the end, we paid him just to avoid conflict and brought in someone else to correct the work. Perhaps Chris might be fine for very small jobs, but I cannot recommend him based on my experience and regret choosing him for this project.

The project was paid in full with no issue or conflict!, which I took that you were satisfied with the work.   Quality decorating

  C Holmes Painting were friendly, efficient with their timings, and did a fabulous job - they transformed the house. They were also very tidy! Can’t recommend them enough.

  Chris has done a fantastic job. Chris gave recommendations thought the job and was sourced all paint and materials required for the job. Will be using Chris again in the future.
