  Good Work, Disappointing Aftercare

  Work on our driveway, garden and courtyard was completed on time, and Joseph and his team were professional and helpful throughout. They even went the extra mile with a few extras, which we appreciated. However, aftercare has been disappointing. The work has a 5-year guarantee. I’ve been chasing since December about courtyard tiles causing water to pool. Joseph said it was an easy fix, but despite regular follow-ups and repeated promises, no one has returned or given a date. 3 stars for now due to the quality of the original work but poor aftercare, and will update to 5 stars if resolved.

  Joseph and team have just finished our driveway and it looks great. Joseph was clear and professional, listened to what we wanted and his team carried out the plan to our specs - including a bollard and planter. They were polite and approachable throughout, checking in with us with any questions where necessary. After the work was done, they cleaned everything up, leaving the pavement and driveway looking new! Joseph's customer service and site management skills were a great asset and made the process easier to understand and trust the team to deliver a great job. Thanks to the entire team!

  Tarmac driveway with block boarder on a slopping drive

  The company was quick with a quotation and carried out the work on time and to a good standard, however we were presented with a bill for more than quoted for ‘additional work’ needed that was not communicated at any point during the work. They did take some of the additional cost off but we had to find an extra £800.

  Hi Jon, thanks for your feedback. At Cheshire Paving Solutions we always aim to deliver the best workmanship and never cut corners. With your driveway being on a steep slope, we installed flat edging kerbs and ACO drains as we felt they were necessary to protect the tarmac, manage water flow correctly, and give the drive the proper finish. These were not included in the original quote, so they came with an extra charge, which we discounted due to the time frame and your work commitments. Sorry for any inconvenience—our intention was only to provide a driveway that will last. Thanks, Joseph.
