The company was quick with a quotation and carried out the work on time and to a good standard, however we were presented with a bill for more than quoted for ‘additional work’ needed that was not communicated at any point during the work. They did take some of the additional cost off but we had to find an extra £800.

Hi Jon, thanks for your feedback. At Cheshire Paving Solutions we always aim to deliver the best workmanship and never cut corners. With your driveway being on a steep slope, we installed flat edging kerbs and ACO drains as we felt they were necessary to protect the tarmac, manage water flow correctly, and give the drive the proper finish. These were not included in the original quote, so they came with an extra charge, which we discounted due to the time frame and your work commitments.
