  Kitchen renovation

  I recently hired Chalk Build for a kitchen renovation. They carried out a more extensive flat renovation for me a couple of years ago. As a returning customer, I’m impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication. The new kitchen looks great, the process was smooth and they stuck to the agreed budget. From start to finish, the team was punctual, organised, and communicative. They kept me very well updated throughout the process.

  Works following a leak

  The walls, floor and electrics in a small loft area were all badly damaged following a leak from the upstairs flat and required replacing, as did a party wall in the bedroom and the bathroom ceiling. So there was general building work, painting, electrics, plumbing and tiling (bathroom floor had to be replaced) involved. Tom oversaw the work on site and was fantastic - really pleasant and helpful. Really happy.

  Hallway and staircase renovation

  The job was to remove a built-in cupboard to create space in the hallway (demolition, rerouting of pipes, make-good), refloor and repaint the hallways, and update the staircase (new carpet, new banister, resolve creaks). Chalk Build did a great job, always prioritising health and safety (e.g. not disturbing asbestos tiles). Communication was excellent throughout the project, with any potential delays flagged early and costs explained transparently. Mustafa was great at making suggestions and coming up with ideas for what could work in the space. Finished product very good. Overall great job.

  Bathroom renovation

  Mustafa and his team did a great job with my bathroom renovation, which involved a complete strip out from floor to ceiling. We ran into a few design-related issues at the start but Mustafa was great at coming up with solutions, without compromising the finish I was looking for. Mustafa was great at keeping me updated throughout the project, and it is very clear that the Chalk team care about leaving their customers satisfied with the end product and their service.

  House renovation

  We recently had extensive work done on our house by Chalk Build, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The scope of the project included leveling the floor, changing the flooring, painting throughout, changing all radiators, installing a brand new bathroom with a different layout, fixing the roof, replacing a lead pipe, and insulating the roof. From the start, Mustafa and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill. The quality of their work is outstanding, and it's clear that they take pride in what they do.   Living room, bedroom, bathroom fitting

  From the beginning, a really nice introduction and understanding of what I wanted. Everything was planned really well and easy to follow even by far through a platform that they use. A full refurbishment (electricity, wood floor, bathroom, walls / paint). The team did an incredible job, always available and pleasant to have them home. They also are careful on the impact it can have on the neighbours. Can’t wait for the next project. Many thanks to all of you, great job !
