  Kitchen Extension now toasty

  I am delighted with how quick and painless the process was. A single contractor, whose name slips my mind but was very helpful, and it was so easily and quickly completed. Hoping for much warmer kitchen in the winter now. Thank you. Highly recommend Cavitech, professional, polite and fantastic process to observe.

  Cavity Wall Insulation

  They arrived on the day and time as agreed. The work was done efficiently, including the removal of debris from the cavity before inserting the insulation. Everything was left in a tidy condition and the tradesman were very polite.

  Cavity wall insulation

  Really pleased with the work carried out by Cavitech Ltd. Very impressed with the surveyor who came along to initially assess the work required and the installation engineers who came subsequently to inject the cavity walls. They carried out the work efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly any mess they made. The work came with an official Certificate of completion with a 25 year guarantee.

  Moved into a new house which was freezing

  Cavitech came and surveyed the property and demonstrated using an endoscope that the majority of the cavities had little or no insulation. Provided sound advice on areas that could and could not be treated due to the nature of the property construction. Came the following week to undertake the agreed work and left the property clean and tidy externally. Would recommend this company highly for honest advice and a good professional job done.

  Cavity wall insulation removal

  The removal of the cavity wall insulation was completed without any problems. They installed air bricks to help dry out the cavity wall. We requested these bricks to be removed and replaced with normal house bricks as the cavity has now dried. This work was agreed, no workmen turned up on the arranged date, so we called Cavitech again and were given numerous other dates for the work to be carried out, no workmen turned up. After numerous calls to the office, nobody has called back to explain why they have not carried out the work. Happy to take your money but not interested in finishing off!

  Thank you for your review. We have tried to contact you to discuss these issues but have been unable to reach you. In response, we completed the extraction as requested after which you advised us that there appeared to be some drafts internally, which we explained was caused by the now empty cavity and the air bricks installed to dry out the damp cavity, which is standard practice. You then advised us that you wished for the air bricks to be replaced with normal bricks which wasn’t part of our original quotation and we would not recommended this. Once this was clarified to you, you advised us that you would seek an alternative local builder or similar to swap out the bricks. We assumed from this conversation, that the matter was closed. We apologise for any misunderstanding on this occasion.
