    Floor replacement and bolting metal bars to timber joists

    James replaced my chipboard floor and installed ten steel strengthening bars across the joists underneath. The difference is incredible — the previously uneven, bouncy floor is now completely solid and level. James was efficient, professional and effective. He is also friendly and approachable, and takes the time to clearly explain what he’s doing and why. His workmanship is excellent and you can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job properly. First class.

    James was incredible, he worked at pace and went above and beyond to get the work done on time. The work itself was done to such a professional standard and I couldn’t be more happy. To make matters even better James is such a lovely person and makes you feel completely at ease. I would recommend Canfield Carpentry to anyone!

    Excellent work, clear communicator

    James @ Canfield Carpentry put up a bespoke shelf in a wonky bedroom alcove, to match a shelf in another alcove. Shelves matched in height and design, he was super communicative, clear, professional and helpful
