  Reinforce staircase to reduce squeaking

  Steve reinforced some stairs for me to reduce some very annoying squeaking. The squeaking was so bad it would wake up my newborn! Steve was fantastic and the quality of his work means that the stairs are completely silent now. He also reduced the cost of the job as it took less than time than expected - which is always nice!

  Fitted 4 curtain poles

  Steve was great. He was able to see me the next day. I had an issue with tough walls and installing curtain poles. He came along and fitted 4 curtain poles. He was polite, on-time and very knowledgeable. He did a great job. He also repaired the damage that I caused when I tried to initially do it myself. I would definitely recommend, and will be having him do some more jobs for me in the future.

  Tiling of porch and odd jobs

  This was the second part of a job which Steve carried out for us. He built the porch and then came back to lay the tiles for the step and carry out a few little odd jobs. As before, we can't fault Steve or his work. Honest, reliable, transparent, conscientious and hard working. Would highly recommend.

  Staircase panelling

  We were impressed from the moment Steve first visited our house to give us a free quote for a staircase panelling. Everything was carried out expertly and in a timely manner. The quality of the job provided has been second to none. Steve proved to be a perfectionist, caring for every detail related to the job. We'll definitely use Steve again and recommend him to friends and family.

  Home office - hang doors, level floor & lay flooring, skirting and coving

  The work had just finished - we are extremely happy with it all. The work was done on time, on budget and to a very high standard. Steve is highly skilled and very knowledgeable. During the work he came across a few issues (unrelated to the work he carried out) and helped us overcome them all. Very tidy, punctual and polite. We will definitely use him again for other projects.

  Building a Dunster House wooden porch kit.

  I'm so pleased I took notice of the other great reviews and contacted Steve to carry out this job. He was absolutely brilliant. The porch looks amazing. He kept me fully informed throughout the job and explained everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve and I've already asked him to carry out one or two other jobs for me. Excellent!
