Fixed dripping tap but the was left with water hammer which vibrates the whole house when the tap is used. This problem did not exist beforehand.Verified reviewerJob location: SG6Response from BPS Gas Services
I'm sorry you feel this way. the job was to fit a tap and that was done to the highest standards, unfortunately installing a new tap does not contribute to water hammer, this issue was already present and caused by unsupported pipework as explained on the day and you told me that's fine not to worry. As you never communicated you were not happy this was not bought to my attention until you left this review, since then I have offered to attempt to rectify it free of charge and you were not willing to give me the opportunity. The offer is still there I'm always willing to help my customers in every way I can, as you can see from my hundreds of positive reviews on this site.

I was been looking for my heating to be serviced for a while. Searched on the website for someone I could trust to do an excellent job, as well as giving me feedback in layman's terms. Ben and Co came to my home, explained what was needed to be carried out. Pinpointed issues, no heat in three of my radiators. He was quick, efficient and reasonable priced. Of course, fixed the problem, parts on order. I would have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone. BPS gas services are fully insured with public liability up to £2 m for your peace of mind, we are fully registered with Gas Safe and engineers have full plumbing & Gas engineering qualifications (ACS) allowing us to work safely and legally on domestic gas appliances in the UK.

HEATING
- Power Flushing - This is great for thoroughly cleaning the inside of your heating system. And is required by most boiler manufacturer's to validate the warranty of a new boiler.
- Central heating system repair/maintenance have a radiator not working or leaking? we can help. Radiators, valves, thermostats, time clocks etc...
- Boiler Installation - Need a new boiler? We can expertly cater to all needs and budgets from small combi swaps to larger conversions.
- Gas Cooker/Hob Installation - You can start cooking quickly with our help.
- Gas Meter Relocation - It's illegal to move your own gas meter; however, we have the necessary registration to legally and safely move your meter for you.
- Landlord Gas Certificates/Boiler servicing - If you are a landlord, you are legally required to obtain a Gas Safety Certificate every twelve months. You can get one from a Gas Safe Registered engineer from BPS Plumbing; this engineer can check the safety of gas appliances at your property.
