  Repair of a leaking flat roof extension

  The ceiling of my flat roofed kitchen extension leaked in an area near the front of my house after heavy rain. B J Roofing Services fitted new rubber membrane roofing material to the flat roof extension. After further heavy rain the leak through the ceiling was far worse than before extending the whole length of the kitchen wall. B J Roofing Services attempted to rectify the leaks several times but the leaks continued. Two builders, an insurance assessor and a buildings surveyor all pointed out the poor workmanship involved in the fitting of the rubber membrane on the flat roof.

  I haven't been back to rectify your job as you wouldn't let me and it's your 20 years old skylight and coppings leaking not your roof . This review is unfair as I advised you to pay the extra £150 to finish the Job off witch I'm still willing to do

  Had a new roof fitted and my chimney repointed by bj roofing amazing service jolene kept me well informed looks great i would definitely recommend

  Storm damage

  I returned from holiday to a large damp patch on bedroom ceiling, rain had got in through broken ridge tile. Joseph was the first of the roofers I called and he quickly assessed the situation and advised on how he could help. I got 2 more quotes, and they broadly agreed on the work needed. BJ wasn’t the cheapest quote but I felt confident that they were the right choice. Everything was clearly explained to me and a written quote upfront. The work was completed quickly and the whole area left spotlessly clean. I’m confident that I can call on Joseph if I need help in the future.

  Replacing broken tile and repairing cement edging

  This was a simple job of replacing a broken tile at first floor level. The contractor pointed out that the cement rendering was breaking up on several elevations. He could repair this but it would probably break some other tiles - they were not standard size and he would have to order specially. He implied it was a big job. On the day he and one other man arrived and did the job in less than four hours. They replaced the one tile and only seemed to skim over the broken cement. He demanded payment the same day. I think the charge was excessive for what was done.

  We are sorry you feel this way. However, you did get the tiles & a detailed quote in writing, so you were fully aware of the cost. I requested the payment, and you were happy enough with the job and paid. Unsure why you are saying this is excessive now as you were aware of the cost before we started.
