  Barry was great, communication was excellent, talked us through every aspect of the job, helped us work everything out, and did a great job. Really lovely person too, very easy to get on with and the work was top quality - we absolutely love it - cannot recommend Barry enough! A lovely guy who got it done well within the time frame and really cared about making sure it was right for us! We're so happy with it!

  Didn't turn up, no message either

  BGS didn't turn up to provide a quote or message to say that they were no longer attending. I waited a couple days to see if there would be follow up or apology. There was none. I would have booked someone else in or not waited in. Very disappointing and says something about reliability.

  The potential client was immediately apologised to once the matter arose. There was a genuine mistake made to which BGS apologised for. We communicated and I explained. I find this very harsh not to retract the review. BGS prides itself on respect for clients and works very hard to make them happy. Please remember reviews can make you, but also can damage you and as a genuine company you always are mindful of this. Would I blatantly damage my own company. I think not. Please read the other reviews.

  Painting of stairs, hallway and landing

  Barry and Dan were very professional and tidy workers, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were really pleased with their work, they completely transformed our dark staircase to a light and airy space. Barry was always willing to answer and questions or queries and kept us informed throughout of what he was proposing. He was also very prompt in responding and turned up when he said he would. They didn't stop working for the 2 1/2 days they were with us and were very respectful and courteous of our home. Would definitely recommend and would definitely be using again!

  Great Friendly Service

  BGS were very professional and completed the painting to a high specification. They were flexible to add extra requirements to the original quote. They tidied up after themselves and kept the work area clean. They are very friendly and offered to help with other tasks around the property. I will definitely be hiring BGS again for all future work.
