  Wish I Found Ben Before Wating Money Elsewhere

  We had a boiler fitted by another plumber (I went with the cheapest quote). Immediately after these works were carried out we had various issues with the heating. Our plumber was unresponsive and even when we managed to contact him he didnt want to know. After speaking to a friend Ben came highly recommended although he was a long distance away. I called Ben on the offchance he was able to help. I have to say from the 1st call Ben was really helpful and gave various bits of advice to try. When this didnt work Ben came out the next day and resolved all the issues at a very reasonable cost.

  Ben replaced my boiler pump and carried out a full service, and I’m really pleased with the work. He was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything in a straightforward way. The job was done efficiently and to a high standard, and my heating system is now running much better. It’s great to have found someone reliable and trustworthy. I’ll be keeping Ben on for annual servicing, and plan to use him again in future to remove my old water cylinder and install a new heating system. Highly recommended.

  Not good- and not an expert

  Just had our original boiler fitter over (who moved to Cornwall) to review two jobs carried out by Ben on our boiler (£400), which packed up after work was carried out in January. Whilst he did undertake the work to fix the boiler, the sounds it made subsequent were extremely alarming and the entire thing packed up late April. In short: - work was carried out at ‘over the odds’ prices according to our original fitter - the boiler, once opened, should have had a print out of information re work undertaken (we never got it) - the work was surface and not in depth- boiler needed cleaning- basic

  My price was agreed to before the work was carried out. You had me back a second time because you "were happy with my work" I gave an invoice outlining what id done. You didnt ask for a 'report' "Work was surface and not in depth, boiler needed cleaning" this doesn't even make sense. Cleaning a boiler won't fix a faulty expansion vessel, PRV and filling loop. Which is what i fixed Boiler packs up 3 months later, nothing to do with the parts that were changed and somehow thats my fault. Get your facts right before throwing a tantrum and putting up ridiculous reviews, Jen.

  Taps, toilet and plaster board

  Did a fantastic job. With him coming I can now change my kitchen sink tap myself as I could not before. Highly recommend

  Fitting kitchen tap

  Ben did a good job fitting a new kitchen tap. The job wasn’t straightforward but he managed to find a work around which resulted in an excellent end result. I would be very happy to use him again.
